Yes. Medicare, Medicaid, and most major insurance plans cover in-home physical therapy when it is medically necessary and the patient meets homebound criteria. Life Home Therapy handles insurance verification and authorization directly so patients and families aren't navigating that process alone.
A physician order is required to begin home-based physical therapy, your primary care doctor, surgeon, or specialist can issue one. Once ordered, Life Home Therapy coordinates scheduling, insurance authorization, and initial evaluation directly with you. If you've recently been discharged from a hospital or SNF, your discharge planner can also initiate the referral.
